The annual Wall of Fame recognition program began in the 1997-98 school year, when then-principal Dr. William Krash asked student council members to develop a way of honoring alumni. A committee of students, teachers and administration embraced the idea, adding the first three names to the wall in time for the Class of 1998 commencement ceremony. Since then, 39 of Shenandoah's most accomplished alumni have been honored on the wall.
